I think they ate a big breakfast because they were hard workers and I think they had a good night sleep so they wanted to eat a lot when they got so they could have a lot of energy and they wanted to get to work real so they gobbled down the food.

For # 1 I thik I did the same answer but I am not sure. If I were a lumberjack I would need lots of energy. I wonder how full their plates are.
On # 2 I said the exact same thing.
I would love to spend one day at a lumberjack camp. It would be so cool just to try all of the things that they do.I have never milked a cow. I have had the chance at my uncle’s but my cousin’s wanted me to play with them so I couldn’t.
I wonder what the cat looks like. I would not want to be in bed and have a three legged cat crawl in and bite me. It’s scary just thinking about it.

I agree why they eat such a big breakfast because they are out in the woods all day,
I agree that they called it a full day because Gus had a full day and he didn’t get a lot of rest between chores or what ever you want to call them.
I don’t agree that they forced him to chew tobacco.
I have learned what bullpen means and what big push means also what black lead means.
I also take the lumber down by the river to push them down stream and bring them back to the logging camp. I think they would want to keep the logges in the camp to build ather stuff like to build another bull pen. So they might have there one bullpen with a shower. Or maybe another shower so they can maybe take a shower in the middle of the season so the bullpen doesn’t smell so bad you no what I mean. Don’t you think that they should get a of the water from th lake so they can take showers when ever the want. Don’t you think so? All they have to do is put a heater and maybe they can put the shower underground but they would have to take time to build it. They might just cut down a tree and take out the roots you no the roots go really far they might just have to dig it wider and maybe a little farther farther down. They just have to put in some stairs and of course a roof don’t.you think that would be a good idea?
